Utility Work Closing Lanes on Mexico Road

Beginning Monday, Sept. 24, St. Peters drivers can expect periodic lane closures on Mexico Road at Kindred Hill west of Hospital Drive.

Utility work will impact traffic on Mexico Road in St. Peters this week.  Beginning Monday, Sept. 24, St. Peters drivers can expect periodic lane closures on Mexico Road at Kindred Hill west of Hospital Drive. The lane closures will last about three days. One westbound lane and the center turn lane on Mexico will be closed for a few hours each day to allow a contractor for Missouri American Water to work on a water main under the road.  Missouri American Water will be repairing the road surface about a week later, which will also require some lane closures. A steel plate will be placed over the excavated road surface until the time of the road repair—similar to another utility project on Mexico Road this summer near Spencer Road.  While …

Roadwork Planned for Entrance to Brookwood Subdivision

Work should start Monday, Sept. 10, in St. Peters.

Weather permitting; roadwork will begin on Monday, Sept. 10, to improve Brookwood Subdivision’s entrance at the intersection of Spanish Trails and Salt Lick Road. The road project will include replacement of damaged concrete pavement slabs, widening the intersection, ADA accessibility upgrades and pavement markings to provide two exit lanes.  Work is projected to last three weeks. Drivers in St. Peters can expect periodic, temporary lane closures on the outside, southbound lane of Salt Lick Road and both lanes of Spanish Trails during this time. Please drive carefully through the work zone.

Detours Planned for Jungermann Road Next Week

As part of the Jungermann Road resurfacing project, select lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14.

The Jungermann Road resurfacing project between McClay and Williott Roads will continue with major slab replacements next week.  The city of St. Peters announced that the resurfacing contractor will be performing slab replacements in the intersection of  McClay and Jungermann in St. Peters starting Monday, Aug. 13. The road work is slated to begin at 8 p.m. on Monday night and continue until 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning.  Various lanes around the intersection will be closed and detours will be in place during this time. All lanes will be reopened prior to the morning rush hour and during the day.

MoDot Schedules Lane Closures On Mid Rivers Mall Drive Friday

Crews will be working in right lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive over Route 364 from Friday through Saturday.

As work finishes on Phase 2 of the Route 364 project, final touches are being made to Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Officials will close one lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive over Route 364/Route 94. Missouri Department of Transportation crews will have one lane closed southbound from 9 a.m. Aug. 10 until noon on Aug. 11.  Crews are repairing a piece of concrete in the right lane and shoulder at the southern intersection of the interchange. Traffic going straight from Mid Rivers Mall Drive to Pitman Hill Road will temporarily be routed around the pavement repair.

Traffic Update: Lane Closures Coming to Two Heavily-Trafficked St. Peters Roads Tuesday

Utility work on Mexico Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive on Tuesday will force lanes to close.

Two busy St. Peters roadways will be a bit congested on Tuesday. Single lanes on Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Mexico Road will be closed July 24 as crews do utility work. Drivers are encouraged to drive slowly through the work zones and use alternate routes if possible.  The city of St. Peters announced Monday that one southbound lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive, just south of Grand Teton Drive, will be closed early Tuesday morning for utility work. The closure will take place in the area near DuBray Middle School.  CenturyTel needs to make an urgent utility repair, forcing the closure. The work is slated to start at 7 a.m.  The work is expected to last all day Tuesday. Crews will close the outside southbound lane to allow CenturyTel to gain …

Urgent Utility Work Forcing Closure of One Lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive

One lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive will be closed Tuesday for urgent utility work.

Mexico Road won't be the only road in St. Peters that will have lane closures on Tuesday.  The city announced Monday that one southbound lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive, just south of Grand Teton Drive, will be closed early Tuesday morning for utility work. The closure will take place in the area near DuBray Middle School.  CenturyTel needs to make an urgent utility repair, forcing the closure. The work is slated to start at 7 a.m.  The work is expected to last all day Tuesday. Crews will close the outside southbound lane to allow CenturyTel to gain access to a manhole. The work is expected to last one day.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has plans on Saturday, July 21, to close four of the five eastbound Interstate 70 lanes between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 370.

Lanes to Close on Mexico Road for Utility Work

The Laclede Gas Company will dig under Mexico Road, just west of Spencer Road, on Tuesday, July 24 to do some utility work.

The Laclede Gas Company will dig under Mexico Road, just west of Spencer Road, on Tuesday, July 24 to do some utility work. Crews will close the inside eastbound lane and the center turn lane during the work.  Once Laclede Gas is finished, a steel plate will be placed over the excated surface for a few days. The surface will be repaired a few days later, which will also require more lane closures.  Drivers are urged to drive carefully through the work zone, or seek alternate routes during this project.
