Road Open: Second Phase of Route 364 Finished After Ribbon Cutting

The six-mile stretch from Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive officially opened to drivers Thursday afternoon.

Underneath the new Central School Road overpass, the ribbon was cut early Thursday to symbolically open the second phase of the Route 364 project. Officials from St. Peters, St. Charles County, the Missouri Department of Transportation and representatives of both the state and federal governments convened to celebrate the opening of the second phase of the Page Avenue Extension. Ed Hassinger, MoDOT St. Louis District Engineer, said the project was opening two months ahead of schedule and one million under budget.  The newly-finished six-mile stretch from Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive is slated to open to drivers officially sometime Thursday afternoon. What in the world happened? Did you open it too early??? The traffic jam was ridiculous. It wasn't as bad when the new highway wasn't "open". Why would you close down 3 lanes on opening day? Very disappointing and a big waste of commuters time and fuel.   more ›

Central School Road Over Route 364 Opening July 31

MoDOT will open the new bridge that will open up the access from the outer roads to Central School Road over the new Route 364.

MoDOT keeps bringing good news to St. Peters and St. Charles County drivers. After Thursday's announcement that the second phase of the Route 364 project extending the road from Jungermann Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive would open at the end August, the Missouri Department of Transportation let it be known that Central School Road over Route 364 will open at the end of July. Plans are to open the interchange to traffic sometime midday on Tuesday, July 31.  The Cental School Road interchange has been under construction for the last year and, as the work was winding down, MoDOT limited access to the road. Second Phase of Route 364 Project Opening Aug. 30

The second phase of the Page Avenue Extension, a six-mile stretch from Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters, is expected to open two months earlier than planned.

The second phase of the Route 364 project is opening ahead of schedule. The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Thursday that the second phase of the project will be ready for traffic on Thursday, Aug. 30. The opening date is two months ahead of schedule. The second phase of the project is a six-mile stretch from Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. A ribbon cutting ceremony has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 to officially open the new stretch of the Page Extension. MoDOT to Close One Lane of the Route 364 South Outer Road

The left lane of Route 364 south outer road between Kisker Road and Central School Road near St. Peters will be closed on Friday, July 20, weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be shutting down a lane of traffic on Friday as part of work in the Route 364 project. The left lane of Route 364 south outer road between Kisker Road and Central School Road near St. Peters will be closed on Friday, July 20, as long as the weather place nicely. Crews will close the left lane will be closed from 9 a.m. Friday until noon Saturday, July 21. While the left lane will be closed, the right lane of the south outer road will remain open to traffic at this location. MoDOT crews will remove temporary concrete barriers and asphalt to place concrete to connect the south outer road with the Central School Road Bridge. Route 364 Work Will Limit Access to Central School Road

A temporary bypass allowing access to Central School Road will close June 11 forcing motorists traveling on eastbound Route 94 will have to proceed to Jungermann Road to turn around and go west to access Central School Road.

Access to Central School Road from eastbound Route 94 will shutdown next week. As part of the continuing Route 364 project, drivers won't be able to access Central School Road from eastbound Route 94 starting on June 11. Access should be closed until late July.  Missouri Department of Transportation crews are shutting down the access to complete the construction of a new interchange at Central School Road and the new Route 364. Once the work is completed, another checkpoint will have been reached in the Route 364 project, as MoDOT is working to connect Route 364 from Jungernmann Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. Kisker Road to Reopen Friday

MoDOT announces that Kisker Road at Route 94 will open before evening rush today.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will be reopening Kisker Road at Route 94 before evening rush on Friday, October 21. Traffic will be connected to both the north and south outer roads at Kisker Road and Route 94. Crews will begin construction of the Central School Road bypass the week of October 24. Central School Road will be closed to traffic in early November. Detours for the Central School Road closure will be announced in the near future. This work is part of the second phase of the Route 364 project between Harvester Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

Traffic Shifts, Road Closures Taking Place This Week Along Route 94

As part of the Route 364 Project, Jungermann Road at Route 94 will be shut down for three nights beginning Monday. A traffic shift will also take place Tuesday as part of the continuing road improvement project.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin work on the Route 364 project this week that will impact two locations along Route 94. Beginning tonight, Monday, Aug. 29, MoDOT crews will close Jungermann Road between the north and the south outer roads. For three nights, Jungermann will be shut down between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m so workers can place girders for the bridge over Jungermann Road. Drivers can use Queensbrooke Road and Harvester Road to detour around the nightly closures. The last night of closurers is expected to be Aug. 31.  Along with the Jungermann shutdown, crews have moved up the traffic changes around Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94 to Tuesday, Aug. 30, a day earlier than originally planned, due to equipment …
