'Mystical Arts of Tibet' Coming to St. Charles Community College
A tour that promotes the artistic activities of Tibet and the Drepung Loseling Monastery is coming to the campus on March 28.
St. Charles Community College will host the "Mystical Arts of Tibet," a tour that promotes the artistic activities of Tibet and the Drepung Loseling Monastery, March 28 to 31. The events are free and open to the public. The presentation is sponsored by SCC's Multicultural Programming Committee and the Student Activities Office. Throughout the week, the group will construct a Mandala Sand Painting, a tradition of Tantric Buddhism where millions of grains of sand are painstakingly laid into place on a flat platform, in the student lounge of the Daniel J.
