Veronica E. Carassa was hit by another driver on Sept. 6.

A St. Peters woman was uninjured after colliding with another driver in Franklin County early last Thursday. Just before 9 a.m. on Sept. 6, 54-year-old Veronica E. Carassa was heading eastbound on Highway 100 just west of Route AT when another driver hit her. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Barbara Jones, 75, of Robertsville, attempted to make a left turn and travelled into the path of Carassa's vehicle. Carassa was uninjured in the crash, but Jones sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington. Jones was not wearing her safety device.  Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
