Police: Man Hit Girlfriend Repeatedly, Threatened to Kill Her

The man also spit on the woman numerous times and put a pillow over her face when she screamed for help, St. Peters Police said.

A St. Peters man repeatedly struck his girlfriend in the face and head Nov. 14 in the first block of Rainbow Drive, police said. Michael J. Ingrassia, 37, of the first block of Rainbow Drive in St. Peters, was charged Nov. 15 with second-degree domestic assault. St. Peters Police said Ingrassia spit on his girlfriend numerous times, threw her on the bed, continued striking her and threatened to kill her. When she screamed for help, he put a pillow over her face. Police said in the report that Ingrassia has a history of domestic assault, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $15,000 cash only. Man Charged After Assaulting Girlfriend Along I-370

Police said he struck the woman repeatedly and pulled her by the hair.

A Florissant man faces criminal charges in St. Peters after police said he assaulted his girlfriend on the shoulder of Interstate 370 Sept. 19. Timothy A. Nettles, 20, of the 800 block of Madison Lane in Florissant, was charged Sept. 19 with second-degree domestic assault. St. Peters Police said the couple was stopped along Interstate 370 at Salt River Road when Nettles pinned the woman down and struck her repeatedly in the face and arm and pulled her by her hair. Police: Man Hit, Bit Victim, Poked Him in Eye

The Bridgeton man was charged with third-degree assault.

A Bridgeton man faces criminal charged after police said he punched, bit and poked another man in the eye Aug. 15 in St. Charles County. Benjamin L. Rausch, 30, of the 11800 block of Majella in Bridgeton, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Rausch assaulted the victim in the first block of Toelle Drive near St. Peters. According to the report, Rausch bit the victim in the head, drawing blood; poked him in the eye; bit him in the ear, drawing blood; and punched the victim.
