In January, mayors, city officials, Operation Food Search and church leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) worked together to can dry pack food items for local food pantries.
Head to the LHS basketball game Jan. 29 to participate in a fundraiser for charity.
Lutheran High School students in St. Charles will host an "Empty Bowl" charity drive from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 29, during a home basketball game. Community members will purchase a $10 light meal that will be served in ceramic bowls handcrafted by art students. Community members can take home the bowls. Proceeds will benefit Operation Food Search in O'Fallon.
