Assuming the weather holds up, the Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will shutdown Kisker Road at Route 364 beginning Monday night, Jan. 9. Kisker Road traffic will not be able to cross between the north and south outer roads from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday, January 9 through Wednesday, January 11. Motorists north of Route 364 can use Mid Rivers Mall Drive to access the south outer road. Motorists south of Route 364 can use the Central School Road turn around to access the north outer road. Crews will be setting bridge girders for the Kisker Road bridge. This work is part of the second phase of the Route 364 project between Harvester Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

Traffic will no longer use the crossover to access the north and south outer roads. Crews will open the new U-turn bypass from the south outer road to access the north outer road, just east of the existing Central School Road. Southbound Central School Road traffic will access the south outer road using Kisker Road. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved funding for the third phase of the Route 364 project in St. Charles County Thursday during its monthly meeting. The commission approved $100 million for the roadway, between the existing work at Mid Rivers Mall drive and I-64/Route 40/61 as an amendment to 2012-2017 State Transportation Improvement Plan. The approved funding includes $50 million contributed by St. Charles County for the project. The roadway will be constructed using the design-build contracting process, similar to the I-64 project in St. Louis. A traffic shift in two locations on Route 94 will take place on Friday, Aug. 5. as part of the Route 364 project. The Missouri Department of Transportation said the shifts will take place between the morning and evening rush periods. Traffic on Central School Road north of Route 94 will be placed on newly constructed concrete on the west side of Central School Road. One lane in each direction will be able to get through between Route 94 and St. Peters Howell Road. Traffic at the intersection at Route 94 will remain the same.
