Man Gets Probation After Burglarizing Stepfather's Home, Ripping Out Video System

Michael Anthony Glatz ran through a wooden fence to get away after his stepfather arrived home. He told police he was high on Xanax at the time.

A man admitted disabling his stepfather’s video surveillance system during a March 20 burglary and stealing jewelry from his home in St. Peters. Michael Anthony Glatz pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and felony theft and was placed on five years probation by St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Jon A. Cunningham. Glatz ran through a wooden fence, dropping some stolen jewelry, when his stepfather arrived at his home in the 1400 block of Ticonderoga Drive, according to St. Peters Police. Glatz told police he was high on Xanax when he ran through the fence, according to a court document. The stepfather had been monitoring the surveillance system and saw that it had been disabled. Man Caught On Video Stealing Bracelets From St. Peters Jewelry Store, Police Say

Jeramie Michael Conner also has a pending charge of selling drugs to an undercover officer.

A Harvester man faces theft charges after police said he was caught on videotape stealing two gold bracelets from a St. Peters jewelry store. Jeramie Michael Conner, 23, of the 3700 block of Nottingham Court in Harvester, was charged Friday with felony stealing. St. Peters Police said Conner went into Smith Jewelry and Coins at 4213 S Old Highway 94 on May 1. Police said while the store owner’s back was turned, Conner took two men’s gold bracelets from a display case. A side door to the case had been left open. The bracelets are valued at $800 and $700. Man Points Gun at Girlfriend's Husband on I-70, Police Say

St. Peters Police said Nathaniel A. Gathing, 35, of Wentzville pointed the gun at another driver and then tried to evade police.

A Wentzville man is accused of pointing a handgun at his girlfriend’s husband while driving on Interstate 70 in St. Peters. Nathaniel A. Gathing, 35, of the 500 block of Great Oaks Meadow in Wentzville, was charged by St. Charles County prosecutors May 2 with unlawful use of a weapon. St. Peters Police said a driver was westbound on I-70 at the Cave Springs exit when a teal Camaro, driven by Gathing, pulled up next to him. He said Gathing began yelling at him, and the man rolled down his window to hear what the Gathing was saying. The man told police he saw Gathing reach near an armrest and pull out a black, semi-automatic handgun. The man told police Gathing pointed the firearm at him. Driver on Heroin Charged With Manslaughter Following Fatal Crash in St. Peters

According to a report on KMOV.com, Christine Marie Brown was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter after an April 13 crash killed two elderly people.

A St. Peters woman involved in a fatal car crash last month is now facing additional charges.  After initially being charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, Christine Marie Brown, 42, of the first block of Debbie Drive in St. Peters, was given additional charges. According to a report on KMOV.com, Brown was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter after an April 13 crash killed two elderly people.  In the April 13 crash, St. Peters Police said Brown’s car crossed the center lane of traffic on Willott Road near Crescent Hill Drive and struck another car head on, killing two people in an oncoming car. St. Peters Man Kicked in Neighbor's Door, Burglarized Apartment, Police Say

Shannon M. Zeiss is charged with stealing two televisions and a Wii game system.

A St. Peters man is accused of kicking in his neighbor’s apartment door and stealing several items on Friday. Shannon Zeiss, 33, of the 700 block of Highlands Hill Court in St. Peters, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. St. Peters Police said Zeiss stole two televisions and a Wii game system from his neighbor’s apartment. The items are valued at a total of $1,054. Zeiss was arrested for the crime Saturday. Police: Man Stole Minivan in Wentzville, Crashed In St. Peters

Daniel J. Reynolds was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle.

A man wrecked a minivan that was reported stolen in Wentzville April 16. Daniel J. Reynolds, 42, of the 800 block of Railway Circle in Wentzville, was charged April 24 with tampering with a motor vehicle. Wentzville Police said Reynolds stole a 2005 Dodge Caravan from the 1400 block of Vero Drive April 16, taking the vehicle without the owner’s consent. Wentzville Police put out a vehicle description and license plate number, and an O’Fallon Police officer spotted the Caravan on eastbound Interstate 70 near Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The O’Fallon officer pursued the Caravan as it exited onto Mid Rivers Mall Drive and struck another vehicle. Both vehicles were disabled. St. Peters Police officers arrested Reynolds. Bail was set at $10,000 for …

St. Peters Police to Assist With St. Charles DWI Checkpoint

A DWI checkpoint will take place from May 3 to May 5 at an undisclosed location in St. Charles.

St. Peters Police will be assisting with a DWI checkpoint in St. Charles this weekend.  The St. Charles Police Department will be hosting a DWI checkpoint from May 3 until May 5 at an undisclosed location within the the city limits of St. Charles. The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, St. Peters and St. Charles will team up to perform the checkpoint. The operation is funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway and Traffic Safety.

Woman Injected Heroin Before Causing Fatal Car Crash, Police Say

St. Peters Police said the woman had a syringe inside her bra and several heroin capsules inside her car.

A woman who caused an accident on Willott Road in St. Peters, killing two elderly people April 13, told police she had injected heroin before the accident. Christine Marie Brown, 42, of the first block of Debbie Drive in St. Peters, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. St. Peters Police said Brown’s car crossed the center lane of traffic on Willot Road near Crescent Hill Drive and struck another car head on, killing two people in an oncoming car. Ruth Thimmig, a 91-year-old St. Peters resident, and Donald Gemienhart, 90, of St. Charles, both died from injuries sustained in the crash.  A paramedic responding to the accident told police she found a syringe inside Brown’s bra …

Fourth DWI Comes With Multiple Leaving Accident Scene and Driving While Revoked Charges

St. Peters Police said Christine Dalton racked up nine charges within three months, including a DWI, two counts of leaving an accident scene and three counts of driving with a revoked license.

A St. Charles County woman faces nine charges related to alcohol-impaired driving, including DWI, leaving an accident scene, driving while revoked and charges. Christine Marie Dalton, 27, of the first block of Ashbrook Drive in St. Charles County near St. Peters, was charged Thursday with DWI as an aggravated offender, two counts of leaving an accident scene, three counts each of failure to comply with an interlock device order and driving with her license revoked. Dalton has three previous DWI convictions. St. Peters Police said Dalton drove off the eastbound Interstate 70 exit ramp at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and went over a reflector sign Jan. 17. St. Peters Police Accepting Unused Drugs During Unused Drugs At Annual Rx Take Back Event

St. Peters police will be accepting unused medicine April 27 at the Justice Center and Walgreens.

If you’ve ever wondered how to get rid of old medicines you don’t need anymore, now you have an easy option. St. Peters police will be accepting prescription and over-the-counter drugs at the St. Peters Justice Center and, new this year, at second location, Walgreens. The pick up will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 27. The public can bring medications—no questions asked—to the Justice Center lobby during this time as part of the National Rx Take Back Event. The Justice Center is at the corner of Grand Teton Drive and Suemandy Drive near Mid Rivers Mall. Walgreens, 1305 Jungermann Rd. is at the intersection of Jungermann and McClay Roads.
