With Leap Day in our rearview mirror, it's time to welcome in March. There's an old saying that March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. The old idiom usually means that the nasty winter weather appears at the top of the month, but my month's in the weather has turned more spring-like. Don't be confused, today is the bonus day of 2012. Every four years we get three things: Summer Olympics, leap day and a presidential election. Today is the leap day. Growing up, I just thought the leap day was to fix the fact that a day was only 23 hours and change and that, every four years, the change added up to an extra day. I was not quite wrote.
