Woman Used Another Person's ID in Arrest, Police Say

The crime wasn't discovered until the other woman was arrested two years later, St. Peters Police say.

A woman arrested for stealing at Mid Rivers Mall used fake identification in an attempt to pass herself off as another person. Latasha S. Frazier, 39, of the 2200 block of Collett Drive in Moline Acres, was charged Jan. 28 with two counts of forgery and one count of possessing a controlled substance. St. Peters Police said Frazier was arrested May 7, 2010 at Mid Rivers Mall for possessing buprenorphine and naloxone, both controlled substances. Police said she gave officers an Illinois driver’s license with someone else’s identity information. Frazier had been arrested for stealing items valued at $320 from Marshall’s at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, and officers also found she had items stolen from TJ Maxx. She also filled out a …

Man Stole Sunglasses Valued at $1,190 From Mall, Police Say

St. Peters Police said the man stole five pairs of Versace sunglasses and jeans.

A St. Louis man is accused of stealing several pair of sunglasses valued at $1,190 from a Mid Rivers Mall store. DaJuan Stansberry, 28, of the first block of South Compton in St. Louis, was charged Jan. 14 with felony theft. St. Peters Police said Stansberry stole five pairs of Versace sunglasses, valued at $1,190, from the Sunglasses Hut at Mid Rivers Mall on Jan. 11. Police said when Stansberry was arrested, he had several pairs of jeans stolen from another store in the mall. The jeans, valued at $319, were damaged when the security tags were removed, according to the report. Police said Stansberry said he stole the merchandise to support his drug habit. Police: Man Caught Stealing Liquor From St. Peters Walmart Had Drug Items

The University City man pleaded not guilty at a Jan. 16 hearing.

A St. Louis County man faces criminal charges after being caught stealing liquor from the St. Peters Walmart. Allen C. Douthit, 32, of the 7000 block of Julian Avenue in University City, was charged Jan. 10 with misdemeanor stealing and possession of drug-related items. St. Peters Police said Douthit stole two bottles of liquor from Walmart, 1661 Jungermann Road in St. Peters. The liquor was valued at $53.11. Police said Douthit also had syringes, a spoon, a razor blade and half a soda can, all used to inject heroin. Douthit pleaded not guilty at a Jan. 16 hearing. Bail was set at $1,000, cash only. Pair Arrested After Trying to Steal From Macy's, Victoria's Secret

A pair of St. Louis County residents attempted to use an altered to shopping bag to bypass security to shoplift from Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters.

A modified shopping bag didn't help two St. Louis County residents elude St. Peters Police at Mid Rivers Mall.  Damesha M. Mitchell, 19, and Claudell Webb Jr., 22, were arrested by St. Peters Police after attempting to steal nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise from Macy's and Victoria's Secret. Both were charged with a Class C felony stealing charge for theft of items more than $500.  According to police, an officer observed Mitchell and Webb enter a fitting room with a Forever 21 shopping bag and several Polo shirts and hats at Macy's on Dec. 14. The pair then exited the fitting room with less merchandise than they had entered with. The officer said the duo then left the store without attempting to purchase anything.  After a brief …

Police: St. Charles Man Stole Catcher's Mitt from Walmart

Matthew Lee Perrey, 24, of the 100 block of McDonough in St. Charles, was charged on Dec. 13 with stealing and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

A St. Charles man was arrested after St. Peters Police say the man took sporting goods from Walmart.  Matthew Lee Perrey, 24, of the 100 block of McDonough in St. Charles, was charged on Dec. 13 with stealing and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The stealing charge is a felony charge because it's Perrey's third stealing related offense since 2010. St. Peters Police said that on Dec. 12, Perrey took a catcher's mitt and a pair of batting gloves from Walmart. Police said Perrey is an admitted drug user and found him with two used syringes, a tourniquet and burnt bottom of a soda can in his jacket pocket. Two Caught in Lake Saint Louis Thefts Charged With Mid Rivers Mall Shoplifting

The women were among five arrested after fleeing the Von Maur store in the Meadows.

Two women charged with stealing from a Lake Saint Louis store now face charges for stealing more than $2,100 in clothes from Mid Rivers Mall. Alkeisha Weatherford, 19, of Cedar Hill, and Tianna Slayton, 18, of the city of St. Louis, each were charged Wednesday with two counts of felony theft. St. Peters Police said the two stole Polo jeans and Polo shirts valued at $1,200 from Dillards and several women’s North Face fleece jackets valued at $960 from Sports Authority. Prisoner Briefly Escaped St. Peters Justice Center

The man, in jail on a burglary and theft charge, never was out of sight of corrections officer, police said.

A prisoner in St. Peters municipal jail briefly escaped from the St. Peters jail Oct. 30 after pushing a corrections officer and grabbing his keys, making it a short distance outside the St. Peters Justice Center at 1020 Grand Teton. “He was never out of sight of our officers,” said St. Peters Police Media Relations Officer Melissa Doss. Doss said that Zachary Mills, 21, of Wright City, allowed to make a phone call, but instead he pushed a corrections officer back several feet and grabbed his keys. Mills made it outside the center and ran between apartment buildings in a nearby complex. An officer got close enough to him to point a Taser at Mills, who then stopped running and surrendered. New Jersey Man Steals Wind Chimes, Bedding, Other Items, Police Say

St. Peters Police said the man was wanted in his home state on a parole violation.

A man faces stealing charges after police said he stole several items from Walmart in St. Peters, including wind chimes, a coffee maker and bedding. Arthur Corcione, 41, was charged Oct. 1 with felony stealing for theft of items valued at more than $500. Police said Corcione is from New Jersey and did not have a permanent residence in Missouri, and gave the St. Charles Motel 6, 3800 Harry S. Truman, as his primary address. He is wanted in New Jersey on a probation violation. St. Peters Police said Corcione took items from store displays at the St. Peters Walmart and put them in his shopping cart, including a coffee maker, DVDs, a telephone and electronics. Man Burgled Four Homes in Harvester Area, Deputy Says

Police said the man, who stole from cars parked in attached garages, came face-to-face with one homeowner in the midst of a burglary.

A Harvester man faces criminal charges after police said he entered four homes in the Harvester area on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20. Cory D. Blessing, 21, of the 3300 block of Hampton Crossing in the Harvester area, was charged with four counts of first-degree burglary. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said in a report that Blessing entered an attached garage in the 1300 block of Mason Grove on Sept. 19 and stole a Garmin GPS system from a vehicle. The homeowner came into the garage, interrupted the burglary in progress and came face-to-face with Blessing, the deputy reported. Three Indicted on Seven Burglaries, Dozens of Thefts

Three St. Charles County men, including two from Wentzville, face charges on burglaries throughout St. Charles County.

Three St. Charles County men each were indicted by a grand jury on Friday on seven first-degree burglary charges and multiple stealing charges. The defendants are: Larbi and Ballinger were indicted by the St. Charles County grand jury on seven first-degree burglary charges; Roberts was indicted on five first-degree burglary charges. Larbi faces 27 stealing charges and Ballinger has 21 stealing charges. Roberts was indicted on 15 stealing, two receiving stolen property and one second-degree property damage charges in addition to two charges of selling marijuana to an undercover officer.
