Police Blotter: Suspect Breaks Into Friend's Home, Assaults Homeowner

Assault
  • A suspect was arrested and charged with burglary/assault for entering a residence in the 1st block of Lienemann Court. The residence was that of the suspect's friend’s family and the subject assaulted the homeowner.  The homeowner sustained minor injuries after the assault and the suspect was detained by his friend until police arrived.  It is unknown why the suspect assaulted the homeowner.
DWI 
  • A 21-year-old male was arrested for a DWI at eastbound Highway 364 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive after an officer witnessed several traffic violations and initiated a traffic stop. Driver was arrested without incident.
