St. Peters Man Injured in Collision on Interstate 70

John R. Ray, 71, was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center in Lake Saint Louis with minor injuries following the crash.

A St. Peters man was injured in a two-car crash on Interstate 70 on Saturday morning. 

John R. Ray, 71, was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center in Lake Saint Louis with minor injuries following the crash. Just before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, two cards collided on Interstate 70 at Mid Rivers Mall Drive. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report, Ray and another vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Travis K. Fisher, of St. Peters, were headed westbound on I-70. The Highway Patrol said Fisher changed lanes to the right and struck the rear of Ray's vehicle. 

Fisher then swerved to the left and struck the concrete median. Fisher was uninjured in the crash. 

Both Fisher and Ray were wearing safety devices in the crash.
