Jacob Shearer, 28, of Harvester, was charged with second-degree burglary and theft. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy said he spotted Shearer nearby a burglarized home while responding to a call about suspicious activity. The deputy said he had items from the home, including nearly $52 in change.
