Mayor Pagano to Join Cast of 'You Can't Take It With You'

St. Peters mayor to take the stage with in ACT II season-opening play.

ACT II Community Theater will kick off the 2011 with a notable face in the cast.

Beginning Feb. 18, the Community Theater group will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy "You Can't Take It With You." St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano will appear in the first three shows of the play.

The play will run from Feb. 18 to Feb. 27 in the 318-seat Performing Arts Theatre. The show will be the first performance at the Cultural Arts Centre's new location inside

"This season marks a number of exciting firsts for ACT II now entering its 18th season of theatrical productions", said Bill Fix, President of ACT II in a press release. "We now have a real theater with comfortable seating and a professional sound and light system. And, the icing on the cake, is Mayor Pagano's onstage role in the first three performances of our first show of the season."

The show will have performances on Feb. 18, to Feb. 20 and Feb. 25 to Feb. 27. Friday and Saturday showings begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are available online at act2theater.com and at the door.
