Three Cars Stolen From St. Peters Dealership Service Department

The thieves broke a window to get keys from an overnight drop box.

KSDK reported yesterday that three cars were stolen early Tuesday after thieves broke through a window and snatched keys left in an overnight drop box.

The theft occurred at Suntrup Buick/GMC at 4200 North Service Road in St. Peters.

The dealership's service manager said that reported two cars stolen after finding the window smashed and empty key envelopes on the floor.

Later, when a customer called about the car she dropped off, the management realized that her car had been stolen too.

Two of the cars have been recovered in St. Louis, with no damage, but the third car is still missing, and there are no leads in the theft.
