Business News: Northern Tool and Equipment Opens

Also, Thyme Out Cafe will host closing sale.

Northern Tool and Equipment opened at 4055 Veterans Memorial Parkway on Feb. 28. 

The St. Peters location is the first in Missouri. The equipment and tool store is based in Minnesota and has more than 75 locations across the midwest and southeast. 

The new store is 10,307 square feet and will offer more than 7,500 products, according to a press release from the company. The St. Peters location is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The phone number is 636-486-4641.

A second store is expected to open in Missouri on March 15 in Arnold.  

Duane Boris, director of real estate development for the company, said they are actively looking at other markets throughout the state.

Thyme Out Cafe Sale

Thyme Out Cafe in Cottleville, 5212 Highway N, closed March 3 and is planning a sale on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Miscellaneous items will be for sale including dishes, decor, tables, chair, a convection oven and deli cases. 

Poverty Barn to Close

Poverty Barn, a handmade gifts store located at 5339 Fifth Street in Cottleville, plans to close March 31, less than six months after opening.

The shop plans to maintain its online Etsy shop
