Menards Set to Return to St. Peters Planning and Zoning Meeting

For the third straight month the hardware store will be making an appearance at the St. Peters Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to discuss the proposed St. Peters store.

The year of Menards continues Wednesday at the St. Peters Planning and Zoning Commission's May Meeting.

the national hardware store will be back in the chambers at the St. Peters Justice Center. After two meetings to review the site plan for the proposed St. Peters stores, Menards will be back for meeting No. 3 as the commission meets in May. Wednesday's visit will deal with a record plat. Menards will be trying to get the Commission to approve a resubdivision of Mexico Road Syndicate Subdivision Lot 2.

The record plat is just another step the hardware store can take before opening up shop at the intersection of Mexico and Spencer Roads just north of the . Menards said during it's first trip to St. Peters that it hoped to open the new store in early 2013.

Menards won't be the only attendee at the May meeting. The commission will hear requests for nine home occupation permits (eight new and one old). The home occupation requests range from lawn care to baking to wedding planning.

Also on the agenda for Wednesday is a public hearing relating to city code changes and a right-of-way vacation for Highway 94 North Outer Road, North of Highway 364/Highway 94, East of Kisker Road.
