I-70 Shoppers Fair Opening Pushed Back to August

The new St. Peters flea market set the grand opening for Aug. 24 and 25.

Owners of the I-70 Shoppers Fair have pushed back the grand opening of the flea market from July 20 into August after delays arose related to expanding the parking lot, and installing security and fire alarm systems.
The opening is now set for Aug. 24 and 25, according to the market's Facebook page
While owners waited to get final approvals from the fire department, they decided to complete a parking lot addition to put in more spaces.
"We have always been concerned about parking and this will alleviate our concern with big crowds," the website reads.
The I-70 Shoppers Fair is located at on the North Service Road between Cave Springs and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The 23,000 square foot building will have about 130 vendor booths, a food court and a sports bar. In addition, there will be outdoor booths.
The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Among the vendors who will be at the market are Redposie Resale, a vintage furniture shop, and vendors selling floral wreaths and crossbows. Indoor vendor booths cost $45 a day to rent and outdoor booths are $35.
Admission will be $2 per person, with children ages 12 and under getting in for free. Attendees are entered for raffles and prizes with the cost of admission.
