The website for United Services for Children was subject to a hacker attack on Aug. 13. The homepage was temporarily replaced with a political image. The site is now back up and running, according to a press release.
United Services for Children is a preschool that serves children of all abilities with locations in Dardenne Prairie and St. Peters.

On a Google search for the website Thursday afternoon, the preview text read, "This is SpAcE FiGhTeR from Bangladesh Grey Hat Hackers want to say : Stop killing Egyptian Children,woman and innocent people with American Bullets."

The e-commerce function of the website was unaffected by the attack.

"We are working with jWeb to address security and ensure this does not happen again," the press release read. "We appreciate the patience and understanding of our families and community supporters today while we worked to correct this problem."
