Our boat seats and vinyl needed replaced. This was the second place we took it for a bid. We were told a price that we felt was fair and dropped the boat off. While checking on it one day we were told that the wood would need replaced and it would cost added another $1,000 for bad wood and to dye the grey to black. This was more than we wanted to spend but felt we HAD to because the seats and vinyl were all out of the boat already. It was completed in the original amount of time quoted. But when it was time to pick it up-it was again ANOTHER $1,000 more than we were told!!!! There was NO PHONE CALL to ask us what we wanted to do. They just expected us to pay it and we had to to get our boat back. They agreed to allow us to pay 1/2 at pickup and 1/2 in 30 days. This is terrible business. They even had the audacity to tell us we should "understand" because we own our own business. But unlike them we don't spend our clients money without checking with them first. Good business practice would be to explain WHY its now $2,000 more than the original bid-not just charge it and expect payment. We recommend you NOT do business with this company. Seek a more professional organization to spend your money with!
