Pools Scheduled to Open This Weekend in St. Peters

St. Peters residents will be able to get a special rate at St. Charles pools this summer.

Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and that means it's time to hit the pools for a lot of people. 

Weather permitting, all three St. Peters pools—, and —will open to the public this weekend. The pools will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The pools will remain open through Labor Day (Sept. 5). The hours of operation vary depending on the time of year and the pool.

Pool passes are available for purchase at and the St. Peters resident rates are available to any person with a St. Peters Resident Privilege Card— also available both at City Hall and the Rec-Plex registration desk. City Hall hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Rec-Plex registration desk hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summer passes are not available for purchase at the pools.

The Golf & Recreation Center pool is located at 200 Salt Lick Road. Laurel Park Pool is located at 181 Driftwood Lane. The Nob Hill pool is located at 50 Sutters Mill Road.

Season passes are not the only way to get into the pools. Daily passes can be purchased at each pool, however, all purchases must be made in cash only. Resident Privilege Cards are required for each family member to receive St. Peters resident rates at the admission gate.

The Resident Privilege Card also entitles St. Peters residents to special rates at St. Charles pools this summer thanks to a partnership between the cities of St. Peters and St. Charles. Under an agreement, all St. Peters residents with a Resident Privilege Card are entitled to:

  • $1 off daily admission to the Wapelhorst, Blanchette or McNair Park Aquatic Facilities.
  • St. Charles resident rates on the season-long pool pass.
  • An opportunity to purchase the St. Charles resident-only 10-Visit Swim Pass.

In return, St. Charles residents with a St. Charles Park Passport can get St. Peters resident rates on daily admission and memberships at the St. Peters Rec-Plex (not St. Peters outdoor pools).
