Rec-Plex, City Hall Will Be Closed for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is Thursday and St. Peters has changed hours of operations to ensure city employees get time off. 

What's Closed? Just About Everything

St. Peters City Hall and the Cultural Arts Centre will be closed Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. The St. Peters Rec-Plex will only be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Recycle City, including aluminum can buy-back and trash acceptance, will be closed on Thanksgiving. The Recycle City drop-off area, however, will stay open.

Recycle City will also close early, at 4 p.m., on Friday and Saturday. 

The Earth Centre yard waste and composting facility will be closed on Thanksgiving and will close early at 4 p.m. on Friday. Earth Centre will not offer product sales the entire Thanksgiving weekend.

Trash Service

As usual for holidays, trash services will be altered to give everyone some time off. All trash services will be pushed back a day. So customers who normally have Thursday service will, for this week only,  have their trash collected on Friday, Nov. 23. Customers who normally have Friday service will have their trash collected on Saturday, Nov. 24.

What's Open

Animal Control officers can be reached for emergencies only after hours on Thanksgiving by calling Police Dispatch at 636-278-2222. Animal Control can be reached on Friday and Saturday by calling 636-949-7354 or after hours through Police Dispatch at 636-278-2222.
