St. Peters Providing Storm Debris Pickup

City will hold a special pickup of limbs and branches following Wednesday's storm.

After an early-morning storm left leaves and limbs strewn about yards in St. Peters, the city will be having a special storm debris pickup. 

St. Peters residents who suffered tree and limb damage from , the City of St. Peters’ Solid Waste Department is accepting calls for special yard waste storm debris collection.

St. Peters residents can call 636.970.1456, option 1, to set an appointment for storm debris pickup. Collections will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Each day is limited to 30 special storm debris collections. The special storm debris collection program will end July 19, 2011.

This service is available by appointment only. Limbs must be no longer than eight feet in length, and must be set at the curb for your appointed collection day.

This service is for storm debris only. St. Peters provides regular residential yard waste collection once per week.

Residents can choose to self-haul the debris to St. Peters’ Earth Centre location at no charge. Proof of residency is required. To reach Earth Centre, take Mid Rivers Mall Drive north of I-70, turn right on Ecology Drive, follow the road to the end, and then follow the signs.
