St. Peters Ready to Respond to Tropical Depression Isaac

 staff and officials are ready to respond to predicted heavy rainfall, flooding and storm water issues in the wake of Tropical Depression Isaac—the storm formerlly known as Hurricane Isaac. The storm is  forecasted to bring significant rainfall totals to the St. Peters region over the holiday weekend.

Residents are advised to be prepared for the possibility of heavy rain and potential flash flooding. City staff is encouraging all residents to stay tuned to local media, SPTV on Charter Cable 992 or AT&T U-Verse 99, the National Weather Serviceand weather radios to get updated weather information throughout the Labor Day weekend.

During the weekend, St. Peters residents that experience flooding issues can still call City Hall for several phone options for helpful information or response from several city departments. The phone system has been set up to provide fast response and information regarding this changing situation.

For information on sewer emergencies, storm water or other flood-related issues, or police assistance, residents can call 636-477-6600 or 636-278-2244 and follow the prompts to report storm water, flooding or sewer issues, as well as directly connect to resources like Ameren, Cuivre River and the National Weather Service for information or services.
