St. Peters Rec-Plex, Trash Services Impacted by Christmas

St. Peters City Hall will be closed on both Christmas Eve and Christmas.

The city of St. Peters will be taking a break next week for the Christmas holiday. 

Monday and Tuesday happen to be Christmas Eve and Christmas. Because of that, several city-run things will be altered. The St. Peters Rec-Plex will have altered hours, City Hall will be closed and at least one day of trash pickup will be impacted. 

Here's a look at the full altered scheduled. 

Dec. 24

  • St. Peters City Hall and administrative offices will be closed.
  • The Cultural Arts Center, located inside City Hall, is closed
  • The St. Peters Rec-Plex is open on Christmas Eve, but will close at 4 p.m.
  • Recycle City will be open on Monday, Dec. 24, for trash and yard waste disposal only from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The offices will be closed and no new trash or yard waste carts will be available for pickup. 
  • Earth Centre will be open for trash and yard disposal only from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The offices will be closed. 
  • Solid Waste pickup will operate on a normal schedule.
  • Animal control officers can be reached by calling Police Dispatch at 636-278-2222 for emergency calls only

Dec. 25

  • St. Peters City Hall and administrative offices will be closed.
  • The Cultural Arts Center, located inside City Hall, is closed
  • The St. Peters Rec-Plex will be closed.
  • Recycle City is closed.
  • There will not be solid waste collection. Trash collection will be delayed a day for remainder of week.
  • Animal control officers can be reached by calling Police Dispatch at 636-278-2222 for emergency calls only
