The Daily Dose: 'Justice Has Been Done' Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the May 2, 2011 edition.

What a night.

Sitting on my couch with my dog working on things for the coming week, I was alerted by Twitter that President Barack Obama was going to annouce something major. For the next few hours, I was glued to the TV and the Internet. Osama bin Laden was, after nearly a decade on the run, captured and killed. I was floored—I honestly was never sure this day would come.

May 1, 2011 will go down as a fairly big day in the history of the United States. Feel free to share your thoughts on this event in the comments below.
