The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Dec. 26, 2011 edition.

Christmas is over and now, we return to work.

I sincerely hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. Unfortunately, Monday means a return to the real world for some (most?) of us. Don't worry if you're back in the office, we'll have plenty of content for you to read while you're "working."

The Forecast

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Tuesday from the National Weather Service

Monday: A 30 percent chance of rain after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 45. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 8 mph. 

Monday night: Rain before midnight, then rain and snow. Low around 34. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 44. Northwest wind between 5 and 14 mph. 

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. Northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm.
