Update: Weather Forces Celebrate St. Peters to Shut Down Early

Sunday events canceled because of rain.

Update at 4 p.m.:

Because of inclement weather, Celebrate St. Peters 2011 at 370 Lakeside Park will be suspended this evening, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, as of about 7:30 p.m. The Sunday afternoon events also have been cancelled due to weather.

The headliner band 4 & 20 was moved up to play this afternoon. That concert is expected to end at 7 or 7:30 p.m., which will wrap up all of the activities at Celebrate St. Peters 2011 this weekend.

Update at 1:55 p.m.: 

The Kimberly Cash concert that was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today during the Celebrate St. Peters 2011 event has been postponed. The concert will be rescheduled at a later date.

Because of the changing weather situation today, the city of St. Peters asks people to go to the city of St. Peters website at www.stpetersmo.net for the latest information concerning the Celebrate St. Peters 2011 event at .

At this time, all events are going on as scheduled; however, people are no longer being charged per car to park inside the park. At this time, all parking is free for the event.
