In case you missed them, here were some of the top headlines from the four St. Charles County Patch sites — St. Charles PatchSt. Peters PatchO'Fallon Patch and Wentzville Patch — over the last few days:

  • St. Charles County voters won't have the chance to vote on a smoking ban in November after Circuit Judge Ted House decided Tuesday to pull the ballot issue.

  • A St. Peters man faces criminal charges after police said he attacked his girlfriend and his father. 
  • An accident caused by a drunk driver sent three to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. 
  • A Wentzville man was busted for delivering cocaine.
  • The mayor of St. Charles  to tame Main Street crime.
  • A St. Charles man faces drug charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said he sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer.
  • Pamela Hoernschemeyer, 46, of St. Peters, pled guilty three felony counts of bank fraud before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson and will be sentenced Dec. 27.
  • SSM St. Joseph West was named a top performer for a second year.
  • Friends and family are coming together to support a local Marine in need. Sgt. Kyle Aslin, 25, of O'Fallon, suffered a massive stroke in early August.
  • The St. Charles County Drug Task Force busted a clandestine meth cook.
  • New signs will direct traffic to St. Charles during the Blanchette Bridge closure.
  • A local family-owned pharmacy is just one year away from celebrating 40-years of serving O’Fallon and Lake Saint Louis residents.
  • Rico the Rhino, a 25-foot long, 12-foot tall inflatable rhino that went missing, was found.  
  • A teen stole three handguns from cars in Wentzville.
  • The St. Peters Rec-Plex will now open 30 minutes early Monday through Friday.
  • A teen was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Sept. 14 on two first-degree burglary charges and one count each of first-degree sexual misconduct.
  • A St. Charles grand jury indicted a Wentzville woman Sept. 14 on two child abuse charges. 
  • A new hardware store has opened in the northern end of O'Fallon.
  • The Lake Saint Louis police chief urged residents to slow down and pay attention.

We already have 2 dogs, so I don't think we are in a position to take on a third dog. Your ad caughtRead More my attention because I love German Shepherds and I had to put my Great Pyrenees to sleep in 2010. The mix of these 2 wonderful breeds makes your dog a really unique and interesting dog. If you could keep me aprised of her situation, I would appreciate it.
