Meet the Enchanting Author of books for young readers...Chris Stuckenschneider

September 26:  Families have a great opportunity to
meet a wonderful author who writes great stories for children at 6:30 pm at the
Deer Run Branch.  Chris Stuckenschneider will talk about her newest
book Patriotic Pals: tales of Civil War Dogs which is a charming and
heartfelt story about the roles dogs played in the Civil
War.   This is the perfect program for those interested in Civil
War, dogs, and great stories.  Bring Grandma and Grandpa for the
program!   Chris is also the author of Twist of Fate which was
a Show Me Readers Award nominee last year. Following the author's
presentation, kids will be able to read to the adorable dogs from Love on a
Leash who love listening to kids read! Books will be sold and
autographed.
