Lawrence Fitzgerald III is the second person charged in the robbery, which occurred during a marijuana deal.

A 16-year-old has been certified to stand trial as an adult after being accused of putting a gun to another person’s head during a marijuana deal and robbing them in St. Peters Feb. 25.

Lawrence Fitzgerald III, 16, of the 1500 block of Dartmouth Drive in St. Charles, was charged March 19 with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to distributing marijuana.

A St. Charles County deputy said Fitzgerald and Alayna Evans arrived at the person’s home as agreed upon to sell him marijuana Feb. 25 in the 500 block of Crown Passage Drive in St. Charles County, just south of St. Peters. After the person entered the vehicle, Fitzgerald pointed a handgun at his head and took his cash.

Evans, 18, of the 1200 block of Poseidon Court in St. Peters previously was charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to distributing marijuana.

Fitzgerald is being held in St. Charles County jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond.
