Man Heisted Items from Cars, Had More Stolen Items Stashed in Bedroom
Anthony Cissi is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Cissi told police he's a heroin addict and steals for cash, according to a court document.
A Harvester man is accused of receiving stolen property and theft, and may be charged with more crimes, according to a court document.
Anthony Cissi, 19, of the 3900 block of Cambridge Crossing in the Harvester-area, was charged March 11 with stealing, a Class A misdemeanor. He also was charged March 8 with receiving stolen property, a class C felony.
A St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department detective said Cissi stole a backpack Jan. 24 from a car on the street where he lives. The backpack contained a calculator and textbooks. Cissi admitted stealing items from three vehicles. Some of the items were found in his bedroom.

A court document also said he possessed several other stolen items, including two iPhones, a Samsung cell phone, an MP3 player, an iPod and cash.
A detective wrote in a probable cause statement that Cissi “is a suspect in many stealing cases still under investigation.”

Cissi told investigators he is a heroin addict and he steals items to get cash.
He is being held in St. Charles County jail Bail was set at $15,000, cash only, on the stealing charge and $15,000, cash only, on the receiving stolen property charge.
