Missouri Highway Patrolmen arrested a woman after she led them on a motorcycle chase Saturday on Interstate 70 and down side streets, reaching speeds of 95 mph and more.
Amanda Leigh Schlueter, 20, of the first block of Rose Drive in St. Peters, is being charged with resisting arrest.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper said in a report that when he tried to pull Schlueter over for careless driving and speeding on her motorcycle on I-70 west of Bryan Road, she refused to pull over.
Instead, she traveled at speeds of up to 90 to 95 mph, weaved in and out of traffic, changed lanes “and performed dangerous stunts at a high rate of speed,” according to the trooper’s report. The chase even reached 95 mph on city streets with speed limits of 25 mph, according to the report.
Bond for Schlueter was set at $15,000. She posted 10 percent of the amount and was released from St. Charles County Jail.
