Naked Man Peeked In Apartment Windows in St. Peters, Police Say

Grady Newton Niceley fled when confronted by area residents, and is charged with sexual misconduct.

A naked man hiding in tall grass peeked inside apartment windows Tuesday at Sun River Village Apartments in St. Charles County, according to police.

Grady Newton Nicely, 50, of the 1900 block of Spruce Street in St. Peters, was charged Tuesday with second-degree sexual misconduct.

Witnesses told St. Peters Police they saw Niceley naked and hiding in the grass at the apartment complex at 100 Broadridge Drive in St. Peters. He was looking inside apartment windows, witnesses told police.

When the witnesses confronted Niceley, he ran to his car and put his clothes on and left in a station wagon, police said. Area residents provided a license plate number for police, which led officers to Niceley.

Niceley posted a $5,000 cash bond and was released from jail.
