Police Blotter: A Thwarted Robbery and Returned Stolen Goods

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department provided for the week of May 4 to May 11, 2011. 

  • Incident No. 9900: Burglary, 400 block of Scenic Drive. Victim’s vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen. Vehicle was parked in his garage at the time and the garage door was open. Two juvenile suspects were arrested and some of the property was recovered and returned to victim.
  • Incident No. 9951: Property damage/stealing, 100 block of Frontier Drive. Passenger window broken with a rock by an unknown person. Victim’s wallet was lying in plain view and was stolen. No suspects.
  • Incident No. 9960: Stolen auto, 100 block of Brown Road. Utility trailer stolen from business parking lot. No suspects at this time.
  • Incident No. 9973: Burglary, 700 block of Hidden Lake Drive. Unknown person(s) entered victim’s garage and went through their unlocked vehicles. Nothing appears to be missing.
  • Incident No. 9991: Stealing felony, 1st block of Aspen Ridge Court. Victim’s wallet containing cash and credit cards was stolen from unlocked vehicle in driveway. Two juvenile suspects were arrested and credit cards were recovered.
  • Incident No. 10091: Stealing felony, 1st block of Donner Pass Drive. Victim was scammed on a Craigslist job posting using an elaborate money order scam. Victim lost thousands of dollars. No suspects.
  • Incident No. 10130: Property damage, 1000 block of Amberglen Drive. Victim’s mailbox was damaged by unknown means and by unknown person(s).
  • Incident No. 10209: Stealing felony, 4000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Victim’s wedding ring was lost/stolen from hotel room. No suspects at this time.
  • Incident No. 10361: Stealing felony, 1st block of Timberbrook. Unknown person(s) stole two mongoose bikes from carport.
  • Incident No. 10443: Stealing felony, 3600 block of North St. Peters Parkway. Victim’s vehicle was broken into and purse was stolen. Active investigation.
  • Incident No. 10524: Burglary, 1200 block of Tara Lane. One male and one female subject were arrested and charged through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for Attempt Burglary 2nd and Property Damage. Arrested subjects attempted breaking into victim’s home. No entry was made. Victim relayed suspect and vehicle description and officers were able to stop the vehicle as it was attempting to leave the area.
  • Incident No. 10540: Stealing felony, 4600 block of South St. Peters Parkway. Victim’s leaf blower was stolen from the back of his pick-up truck while he was eating lunch at another business. Leaf blower was pawned in the area and suspect was arrested for the theft. Leaf blower was recovered and returned to the victim.
