Police Blotter: Female Suspects Attack JC Penney Employee After Shoplifting

The following information was supplied by the St. Peters Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances

  • Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at Dick’s Sporting Goods involving behavior associated with shoplifting. No crime occurred and activity was reported after the subjects left the area.

Drug Offense/MIP

  • Subjects were written a summons for Minor in Possession, Possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia and released at the scene aftera  traffic stop on Interstate 70.

Assault/Stealing

  • Female suspects shoplifted from JC Penney and when loss prevention officer attempted to confront the suspects, they were assaulted.  No medical attention was required. No further details at this time. Female suspects were not apprehended.
