Police: Woman With Rifle Steals Lottery Tickets, Cash at St. Peters Gas Station

St. Peters Police arrested a 41-year-old woman after they say she brandished a rifle during a robbery at a BP gas station in St. Peters.

Police say a St. Peters woman robbed a  early Tuesday morning demanding cash and lottery tickets. 

According to a report in the  St. Louis Post-Dispatch , the woman, 41, is facing charges after police say she used a rifle to rob the gas station.  Melissa Doss told the Post-Dispatch the woman, went into the BP at 150 Salt Lick Road just after 2:30 a.m. The woman showed a rifle and demanded money and lottery tickets. 

Doss told the Post-Dispatch the woman left in a vehicle along eastbound Interstate 70, but was later apprehend when police chased her onto Second Street in St. Charles. Police recovered the tickets, cash and rifle.

Doss said charges are pending against the suspect.
