Update: Police Have Suspect Involved In High-Speed Chase In Custody

Fox 2 in St. Louis reports Fox 2 reports shots fired at St. Peters police began a chase that went into Illinois and then back to Missouri.

A high speed chase started in St. Peters, moved to Illinois and went back into Missouri after reports of shots fired at . 

Fox 2 in St. Louis reports that shots were fired at police leading to a high-speed chase. Fox reports the suspect fled and drove into Illinois before the SUV ended up in Riverview, MO.

After leading police on a high-speed chase, the suspect went off the road and abandoned the SUV in a field near Bellefontaine Estates and Lilac. Police found the suspect on Grapian off of Shepley and Spring Garden.

Fox reports police were attempting to make a fugitive arrest at Interstate 70 and Jungermann Road when shots were fired at officers.
