Speeding Motorcyclist Injured After Being Ejected in Crash

A St. Peters motorcyclist was ejected from his ride after losing control Sunday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, John P. Lally, 37, of St. Peters, was traveling north on Highway DD just north of Highway 94 in St. Charles County just after 4 p.m. on June 2. The crash report said Lally was traveling too fast and lost control of his 2007 Ducati Monster motorcycle. 

The crash report said Lally was trying to make a right turn when he lost control. T right side of the motorcycle struck the pavement and ejected Lally. 

Lally was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to Progress West Hospital. The Highway Patrol lists his injuries as moderate. 

Lally was wearing a safety device, according to the crash report.
