St. Peters Liquor Store Robbed, Employee Struck in Face With Gun

St. Peters Police say HR Liquor Mini Market on the 2900 block of North St. Peters Parkway was robbed just before 9 p.m. on Dec. 1.

St. Peters Police are looking for a woman who robbed a Liquor Store Saturday night.

Police are seeking a female suspect who they say robbed HR Liquor Mini Market on the 2900 block of North St. Peters Parkway, just before 9 p.m. on Dec. 1.

The suspect is described as a black female between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 with a medium build.

Police said the woman entered the store at about 8:55 p.m. The woman was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask. The jacket was described as possibly similar to a Carhartt-style jacket. The woman was carrying a black semi-automatic gun.

According to police, the woman walked behind the counter and demanded money. The employee didn't immediately cooperate with the suspect, police said a language barrier may been an issue. The woman then struck the employee in the face with the gun.

The woman was unable to get the money from the cash register and then she attempted to take the store employees’ purse. The employee grabbed the purse back. The store employee then used her cell phone and called 9-1-1.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. During the robbery, there was an unidentified black male standing outside the door of the business and St. Peters Police believe he may also be involved.

The store employee did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.

If anyone has any information on the identity of the female suspect or any possible accomplices, they are asked to contact Detective Paul Barish at 636-278-2244 ext. 3531 or 636-278-2222.

If a person wearing a hoody, a ski mask and perhaps dark glasses walked into my store, I would immediately draw a revolver and tell that person to drop to the floor and spread eagle or die. Then call for the Police. I would rather be alive than dead.

Bill I agree with you. Seems a pretty good chance that they are there for something other then a six pack of Bud Light and a bag of chips!
