A burglary case was bound over for trial March 14 in the case of a St. Peters man charged with stealing $49,000 worth of tools from a St. Charles home last May.
Daniel J. Marlowe is accused of breaking into a garage in the 200 block of Jacob’s Way and stealing a FLIR infrared camera system and other tools from a work van parked in the attached garage May 29, 2011, according to a police report. He is being charged with theft of items valued at more than $25,000 and burglary.
There were people in the residence at the time of the burglary. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested Marlowe two days later and found the tools in his possession.
Marlowe also was previously charged with second degree murder in the death of Amy Walker of St. Peters but was acquitted, according to the Riverfront Times.
