St. Peters Police Blotter: Stolen Laptops and Bad Checks Edition

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

The following are selected reports from the  from Dec. 4 to Dec. 11, 2011. 

Incident No. 29916: Property damage/stealing, 300 block of Windsor Place. A laptop computer with accessories, valued at $1,200, were stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle. Unknown suspect entered through an open garage door to access the victim’s vehicle.

Incident No. 30134: Fraud, 6200 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive (Target). Active investigation. Suspects used victim’s stolen credit card to make unauthorized purchases.

Incident No. 30148: Stealing (felony), 2000 block of Piedmont Circle. Female acquaintance of victim used victim’s debit card to make numerous unauthorized purchases. Active investigation. 

Incident No. 30153: Forgery, 4100 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. A stolen check was used to withdraw $200 was from victim’s checking account. Active investigation.

Incident No. 30227: Forgery, 500 block of Mid Rivers Mall Circle (Best Buy). Unknown person forged victim’s check at business. Victim lives out of state and she has had multiple checks forged in different states in the last few weeks.

Incident No. 30272: Burglary (residence), 100 block of Del Oro Court. Unknown person(s) entered residence and stole approximately $100 in cash. No suspects at this time.

Incident No. 30274: Burglary (residence), first block of Douglas Drive West. Unknown person entered residence through an unlocked window. No items appear to be missing. No suspects at this time.

Incident No. 30275: Burglary (residence), first block of Haverford Drive. A $400 television, mounted in garage, was stolen by unknown person(s). No signs of forced entry.

Incident No. 30375: Identity theft, 200 block of Universal Drive. Credit card information was stolen and more than $500 worth of unauthorized charges were made online and shipped to people out of state. On-going investigation.

Incident No. 30337: Stealing (felony), 100 block of Mill Bridge Court. Reporting party reported items missing, they were later found. Inactive case.

Incident No. 30478: Property damage, first block of Michelle Lane. Two vehicles, at two separate residences, had windows broken out of vehicle. Both valued each window at $250.  No suspects at this time.

Incident No. 30495: Stealing (felony), 3000 block of South St. Peters Parkway. Victim hung her purse on back of chair at restaurant and it was stolen by an unknown suspect.  Contents included a cell phone, wallet and credit cards.
