St. Peters Police Blotter: Teen Arrested for Hitting Electrical Pole, Leaving Scene of Accident

Also in the St. Peters crime report, an iPhone was stolen from Mid Rivers Mall.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 32238: Leaving the scene of an accident/fire, 400 block of South Church Street. St. Peters Police Officers were dispatched to a fire on Church Street, involving an electrical pole. Once the fire was put out, it was discovered a vehicle had struck the pole, which caused the fire, then fled the scene. The suspect left their vehicle bumper with license plate attached at the scene. St. Peters Police Officers ran the plate and found the suspect located at the first block of Jane Drive. The 19-year-old male suspect was arrested for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, charges are pending through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

• Incident No. 32252: Felony stealing, 9000 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. An unknown person stole an Apple iPhone, valued at $650, from a kiosk in Mid Rivers Mall. There are no suspects at this time.
