St. Peters Movies in the Park Kicks Off June 1

"The Muppets" will be shown at Laurel Park in St. Peters.

The signs of it being summer are rapidly adding up. School is out, the pools are open, and Memorial Day has come and gone. 

On Friday, St. Peters can another item on the summer checklist: The return of the summer Movies in the Park Series. This Friday, June 1, at 7:45 p.m. (or dusk), The Muppets will be shown at  in St. Peters. 

The movie is free to the public. Attendees are encourages to bring snacks, and a lawn chair or blanket to enhance the viewing experience.

This year the Movies in the Park Series will take place at different parks around St. Peters. Other movies to be shown will be: Hugo at in July, The Adventures of Tintin at Shady Springs Park in September, and The Wizard of Oz indoors at the in October. 

Laurel Park is located at 181 Driftwood Lane. You can access the park through Tanglewood Subdivision on the west or McClay Valley subdivision on the east.
