Help Bridgeway Behavioral Health

Bridgeway Behavioral Health is looking for 30-40 volunteers to help at our 35 year anniversary celebration in Cottleville at Rick’s Roadside Market on Saturday, Nov. 9. Several shifts are available, so volunteers can give as much time as they’re able. Tasks include set-up and tear-down, registration, and silent auction assistance. Help Fight Fraud

The Missouri Senior Medical Patrol program in partnership with the Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA) is recruiting volunteers to take part in the fight against fraud, waste and abuse in Medicare by helping Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers report healthcare fraud through outreach and counseling.

Volunteers help protect seniors from falling prey to scam artists, assist them in understanding how to read their Medicare Summary Notice, and how to report any questionable activity.

SMP volunteers receive two days of training to prepare them for their work. If you are interested in volunteering, call the Missouri SMP at 1-888-515-6565 to learn how you can help fight Medicare fraud. The next training program for new volunteers in Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles and St. Louis Counties will take place on from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 5 and 6. Register by calling 1-888-515-6565 by Oct. 15.

Help The Blessing Basket Project
The Blessing Basket Project is looking for a volunteer able to commit to coming in twice a week to help with administrative work. The office is located at 5234 Oakland Avenue, St Louis, MO 63110. For more info head here.

Clean Out Invasive Honeysuckle
Join the Open Space Council from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 19 at Spanish Lake Park, Manny Broadway Shelter, 12636 Spanish Pond Road, St.Louis, MO 63136 to help remove invasive bush honeysuckle. Ages 12 welcome with parent or guardian present.

HavenHouse Drivers Needed

HavenHouse, which provides a house and community of support to families who travel to St. Louis for medical care, is looking for volunteer shuttle drivers to help us transport families to and from area hospitals. HavenHouse vehicles are used to provide this service. Times vary and the schedule is flexible. Shuttle times run between 7:15 a.m. and 9 p.m. for m
