I'm a wife, mother, writer, and runner- but writing came first.  I was telling stories before I could write and later, while my friends were playing with Barbie, I wrote plays and short stories for fun.  Life took me in a different direction when I married my high school sweetheart, MJ.  We served 4 years in the Air Force together, had two (literally) bouncing boys, and moved halfway across the country.  Leaving behind a job in a hospital laboratory for life as a stay-at-home mom took some getting used to.  In my (very little) free time I discovered blogging.  After working in a scientific field for ten years, it was nice to feel my creative juices flowing again.
